Eirc Pierzchala, manager of the reinvigorated Coastal Kingfish (CBL), reports that the contingent of NYSL players he received in mid-season had a great weekend. Jon Reed, OF, was for four for ten with four walks and three RBIs. Among his fireworks were a home run and a triple. Mo Butler, 1B, went five for fourteen and Danny Wansley, INF, was four for fifteen with two stolen bases. In the pitching department Neil Forsyth, RHP. got his first pro win–his weekend line included two hits over seven innings and was accompanied by nine strikeouts. Boo Morrow, RHP, recorded a hold and three hitless innings in relief. He fanned five. And Steffan King, RHP, got his first pro save in a 9-7 Kingfish win over the South Louisiana Pipeliners.
