The three league tryout held June 14-15 produced players for each of the NYSL’s entries in the Can-Am, Pecos and NYSL. Kent Worthington, RHP, and Mike Mullen, RHP, were signed to the NYSL Federals who are playing the Can-Am League schedule in 2011. They will be active for tonight’s doubleheader against Pittsfield. Seven players were chosen for the Carlsbad Bats and eleven were ticketed for the NYSL. The Carlsbad players will spend a week in the NYSL before heading to New Mexico.
