January 24, 2009Barry Robinson, longtime city official in Ottawa, has been named GM of the Rapids (Can-Am). His son ex-NYSLer, Fraser Robinson (LHP), is also on the team. Robinson pitched for the Rapids the entire 2008 season.

QUINN JOINS FL CHAMPS
January 24, 2009Jamie Quinn, C, has been signed by the Windy City Thunderbolts, who have won back to back championships
in the Frontier League. Quinn hit .310 last year in the NYSL. A versatile player, Quinn also saw time in the infield and outfield.
