August 26, 2008Andrew Wong, 3B, Amarillo (ULB), helped the Dillas to their first championship over the weekend. The Amarillo nine defeated last year’s defending champs, the Alexandria Aces. Andrew hit .282 in 82 games for the Dillas this year with three HRs and 45 RBIs. His OBP was .372.

August 24, 2008Brian Campbell, RHP, Lincoln (AA), won his tenth game of the season last night. The Saltdogs righthander went six innings, scattering eight hits and four earned runs. He struck one and walked two. His record is now 10-4 with am ERA of 4.26. Lincoln defeated the Wichita Wingnuts 10-5.
